After School Pottery Classes

Give your kids a creative outlet after school with hands-on pottery time in a fun, supportive studio environment. Our classes offer a mix of wheel-throwing, hand building, glazing, and guided projects— perfect for beginners and young artists looking to explore something new!

Schedule:

Our after-school sessions run Monday–Thursday, beginning shortly after school.

Pricing:

After-school pottery uses the same straightforward pricing as our Pottery Wheel Experience:

  • $29.99 per wheel (covers up to two students sharing one wheel)

Finished pieces are priced by clay size:

  • $9.99 · 1 lb piece

  • $12.99 · 1.5 lb piece

  • $14.99 · 2 lb piece

Students can create as many pieces as time allows and choose which finished works they’d like to keep.


Age Group:

We welcome students in:

  • Ages 8-17

What Kids Will Learn:

Throughout the program, students will:

1. Practice wheel-throwing fundamentals: centering clay, shaping forms, trimming, and more

2. Learn how to glaze and prepare pieces for firing

3. Understand studio safety, tool use, and how to work respectfully in a shared creative space

4. Build confidence through hands-on projects they can take home

Pick-Up Information:

Parents may drop students off just before class start time and pick them up promptly at the end of the session.
